We want everyone to be able to play HEROZ. This is where we are today and what we are working on.
What works now
- Every key can be rebound in the menu, and the controls are listed on screen.
- Graphics quality can be lowered for older computers; the game steps it down on its own when frames drop.
- Menus work at phone, tablet and desktop sizes and with browser zoom.
- Chat can be turned off, and any player can be muted.
- Hero, item and talent icons always come with a name and a colour, never colour alone.
What we are working on
- Reduced motion, a colour-blind safe palette and larger text in the settings.
- The game in Hebrew and Arabic, right to left.
- Touch controls for playing a match on a phone or tablet.
Known limits
A match is a fast real-time game drawn in WebGL, so it is not usable with a screen reader. The website pages and menus use plain HTML and work with one.
